The use of billet aluminum, stainless steel, hard anodized aluminum, and precise CNC components make this the auto taper to own for a lifetime. Built from components in North America and assembled in Canada. Every one of NorthStar's tools that leaves the manufacturing floor is an exact copy as the last. Flawless.
- Adjustable cutter spring system allows for tension adjustment and easy blade change adjustment
- Side plates and creaser arms are constructed of stainless steel
- Adjustable brake roller("clicker") lets you run the tension you prefer and adjust for wear
- Taper head, cover cap, drive dog holder, tape runners and cable drum are precision machined from billet aluminum (6061*T6) for superior strength, durability and corrosion resistance
- New one-piece drive drum with split wheel plates for easy replacement
